Description
Stroke / TIA assessment panel mainly functions to assess the various parameters that might lead to a stroke incident. Wether the blood clots too quickly or clots form slowly needs to be assessed to give the clinician a clear understanding of treatment modality. Patients with diabetes , high cholesterol, BP and abnormal kidney functions are more prone to developing stroke. The inflammatory markers , lipids, kidney & liver functions, blood sugars and platelets included in this panel form the basis of Stroke Screening.
